This is a live, in-person event. We will be following Indiana’s guidance to ensure everyone’s safety. Please review our statement and guide for your protection and ours.
The Christmas in July half-marathon and 5k events will be held at the White River Park, 801 W Washington St,
Indianapolis, IN. The starting line for both events will be near the east end of the White River Trail bridge over the White River. See section below with race map detail.
Half-Marathon, 5K, Virtual Runner, Volunteer
When you register, you can choose to run the half-marathon, a 5K or, if you can’t make the event on race day, choose to be a virtual runner. Virtual runners can walk or run the event on their own time and place and still get a shirt, bib and medal. Registration fee includes shipping. We will mail your packet out to you after the event.
We have options for volunteers who also want to run and volunteers who just want to help. Registration is discounted if you run, or registration is free if you just want to help out. We have limited spots so you better sign up now before they fill up. Don’t wait!
On Race Day
Friday – 3:00-7:00pm Optional Packet Pickup at Hummel Park in Plainfield. The park is wide open for social distancing and pretty close to the airport for our out of state friends. Look for the black Fun-Races truck. 317-696-0196 if you need help finding us.
Race Day Check-in opens at 5:30 a.m. Please arrive between 30 and 60 minutes before your start time. Current Indianapolis mandate is that you wear a face mask when you are within 6 feet of others. Plan to wear your mask when you check in. You won’t need it on the course unless you want it when you are passing runners.
We will have a designated area for gear check. Your bib number will serve for tagging your stuff. We will have a staff member assigned to the area.
